Meet our MD

Tom Stoneman hails from a musical family in Northamptonshire. With his roots in Brass Bands, he has played with numerous ensembles across the UK including playing flügelhorn for Tredegar Town Band, Virtuosi GUS, Birmingham Conservatoire’s Symphony Orchestra, and the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.

Tom has played in some of the most prestigious UK venues, from performing as a soloist in Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, and the international Flügel/Tenor Horn Conference run by Owen Farr, as well as the Royal Albert Hall in London, and representing England’s youth in the European Brass Band Championships.
Tom was the first Brass Band Conducting Masters student at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating with Distinction in 2021.

Tom keeps himself busy as a music tutor across Birmingham and Warwickshire, as well as conducting Shirley Band, a local championship section band.
